Focus: Self-Leadership and the Foundation of Influence
The Spark program is designed for our dedicated Junior students (Ages 9+, Red Belt and above) who have shown a desire to move beyond being great students and toward becoming exceptional role models. At this stage, we believe that leadership is not about a title; it is about the "fire" an individual carries within.
The Mission: Spark focuses on Self-Leadership. We teach our students that before they can lead others, they must first master themselves. Through specialized training with Sensei Nick, Sensei Gabe, and Sensei Angelina, Spark members learn:
The Power of Example: Moving from following directions to setting the standard for the entire mat.
Communication Skills: Developing the confidence to speak with clarity and authority.
The Instructor’s Creed: Spark members begin to internalize our core teaching philosophy: being patient, enthusiastic, and leading by example
As Spark members mature and show readiness, they may be invited to assist in younger classes—taking their first steps in service to their Academy tribe.
Please note: There is a $25 fee to enroll in each semester of Spark.
